October OMG Progress

It’s that time again: time to set a goal for the month of October and link up with Patty at Elm Street Quilts.

1. Keep prepping the massive box of tshirts for a king size, two sided quilt for my oldest son and start figuring out the layout. Not only was the box done, but so was the second box of tshirts (137 of them😳), layout is determined and blocks are being made. 😄

2. Finish my project and Blog post for the Ghastly Ghouls Blog Hop. Done and posted.

3. Take some time to travel to my studio to get some more of my UFO’s finished on my longarm. My goal is to get at least 3 or more finished, depending on how much time I can spend at the studio. 3 quilts were done on the longarm, a flanged binding was done by machine, 2 quilts needed hand stitched binding and I still have one side to finish. I’ll update the photos when I’m done! 😉

All in all October was a good month with some UFO’s and blog hop projects getting finished. I did start some new projects, had some progress on others, managed a trip to the studio, was busy organizing a fundraiser at my Guild and even taught one day in between several days of power outages.

Thank you for stopping by to read my post. 🎃 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
