I Love Thursday #53

I’m joining a group of friends who get together via a linky party on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color most weeks to share list of things that bring them joy, inspire them or make them laugh.

What’s not to love about wonderful fall weather! Clear blue skies, the changing colours of the foliage, having to wear a light sweater in the morning and needing to take it off as the day warms up. I do enjoy every time of the year.

Such a beautiful drive by the lake on a foggy, misty fall morning!

A trip to a favourite quilt shop is alway a favourite thing to do. This week I managed to go in the company of 3 great friends, all double vaxed and with masks on in the car and shop. We had fun helping one of them picking out fabrics for a quilt for her granddaughter’s big girl bed and each succumbed to the allure of fondling fabric and adding to our stash or buying for a new project.

I behaved myself and only added 3 yards to the stash of some background fabric.

Who can resist Grunge fabrics? 😉
Clarke is looking at you and hoping you are having some fun today. 😄

Today I’m off to do some training for the Elections so this post is a short one.

I hope you all are enjoying a day as nice as mine!

Thank you for stopping in to read my post. I appreciate it when you click on the follow button and enjoy responding to your comments. 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

    1. It was a wonderful day Jocelyn! I so wish I could spend time with our Clarke, but I haven’t seen her for almost 2 years….they are in Alberta and with DH being immune compromised it’ll likely be several more months before I do get to give her a hug. Luckily my granddaughter in law keeps me well supplied with photos 😉
