I was only too happy to help out when Kris from Phoebe Moon Designs asked if I could read her new pattern and try the different methods of making the elongated diamonds. Well of course I had to pull fabrics and play with the various methods of making the elongated diamonds to see which I preferred.
Once I had the diamonds done, I just had to cut a few more pieces of fabric and make the entire block.
Now to decide what to do with this pretty block made with some lovely, treasured batik bits. Perhaps a runner or table topper? Time will tell 😉 Carol
Interesting block, and pretty colors. Not TOO stormy!

Oh, that’s a pretty block! I started a Storm at Sea, and it’s currently stashed in a bin. Wish I could run it over to you and hand it over, batiks and all. Not that I don’t like it, I just get too busy playing with other stuff! LOL

Hi Wendy. I really enjoyed this pattern. It’s been on my To Do List and now even more after sampling it. I might get doing one later this year after I get a few things off my list. 🥴
