My weekly Goals and Review

My Weekly Goals – To Do Tuesday #54

Chris at Chris Knits is now hosting the weekly To-Do linky party. I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started joining Roseanne and Sue at Home Sewn By Us for this fun link up.

Last week’s list:

1. Try to get away to the studio for a couple of days with the longarm to quilt Delaney’s quilt and my SAHRR, or one of my older UFO’s? No studio time yet. Perhaps next week?

2. Write my blog post for the In the Kitchen Stitchin’ Blog Hop. Done

3. Work on the panel quilt challenge. Some progress.

4. Continue working on a new project. Some progress.

5. Finish my project with the fun leftovers from the Follow Your Own Path test I did. Not quite done yet.

6. Continue avoiding the squirrels. Success! No squirrels attacking me this week. 🐿🐿🐿

This week’s goals:

1. Try to get away to the studio for a couple of days with the longarm to quilt Delaney’s quilt and my SAHRR, or one of my older UFO’s?

2. Work on the panel quilt challenge.

3. Continue working on a new project.

4. Finish my project with the fun leftovers from the Follow Your Own Path test I did.

5. Start on my project for another Blog Hop.

6. Get my first vaccine/shot in the arm on Friday 😉

7. Continue avoiding the squirrels.

Stitchin’ Time

I’m trying for at least 15 minutes a day, but also want to at least spend 15 minutes tidying up and dealing with scraps.

  • Previous time – 100/108
  • This week – 7/7
  • Year To Date – 107/115

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Some progress is better than no progress! And what have you done with the squirrels?? They may be gathering en masse outside your quilt room door, just waiting for the right time to ambush – LOL. Anyway, good for you this week! I think your list is doable!

  2. Yea! You’re getting your first shot! Your picture of that colorful lime green fabric caught my eye and I just had to see what you were up to! I may borrow your idea of listing my UFOs and keeping track of them…maybe. It’s a scary thought! 😉 Take good care!
