I Won A Prize from Project Quilting

I was so excited to get an email from Kim at Persimmon Dreams letting me know I had won a prize for my PQ 12.3 project which you can read about here.

I’m so thrilled because anyone who knows me knows I love the fun of making scrappy quilts.

PRIZE 12 –  SNUGGLES QUILTS: WINNER – #129. QUILT SCHMILT

A copy of her Seaside Cottage Pattern!

Deanne has already contacted me for my mailing address. Isn’t it fun to know I will be getting some happy snail mail?

Have you been quilting along with the Project Quilting Projects? This is my second year of playing along. I think that in the cold dreary days of mid winter (we here in Canada are experiencing coast to coast arctic temperatures agin today) Project Quilting Challenges keep us cheered up. Who else, but Kim challenges us to make a quilt in a week? You can click on the PQ photo to go to Kim’s site for more information on the Challenge if you haven’t heard of it before.

Thank you, Kim and Deanne for brightening my frigid, cold day!

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
