When Gail from Quilting Gail first announced this fun SAL I had to jump in and do it.
Then life got in the way with having to pick up my Avante, go set it up at my quilty partner’s place, and DH developing some issues which are requiring lots of town appointments for tests and treatments. Poor man is having a rough time this winter.
But I’m happy to say some sewing happened and I’m caught up, just in time for the next round to come out!

For expediency’s sake I combined my piano keys and pluses in the second round. This little quilt is becoming larger than I had intended so combining them made for a smaller size and made the rows more interesting. I didn’t want the busy fabrics to become overpowering, so I thought by just adding geese around two of the corners would give my eyes more space to rest in between travelling along the rounds.
I’m linking up with Anja Quilts on her SAHRR Linky Party and then popping around to see how everyone else is doing.
Thank you for stopping by. 😊 Carol
I like what you’ve done, and using opposite corners on each border will also give you more negative space for great quilting!

Hi Carol! I love the piano keys and plus sign blocks combined together . . . but I really ADORE the flying geese going around the two corners. Fabulous job on catching up in spite of all the other events you’ve had on your plate. I could give you a hint for Monday but that wouldn’t be fair, now would it?! {{Hugs}} So glad you’re playing along. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne. I’m happy you liked it. Thank you ☺️. A hint would be nice but I couldn’t do anything with until Tuesday or Wednesday. I’ve got Marty’s Quilt, a hop project and 2pattern tests on the go right now 😳

Thank you Gail for your sweet comments. This is a fun quick project with just one border each week. I’m loving the fact that I could catch up without stress 😉

Oh, I like the way you’ve “curved” the flying geese! All the variations are just such fun to see. Sorry to hear about your DH’s troubles. Hope all settles down soon!
