This is my To Do Tuesday #42
I haven’t had much that I was able to share this week.
I wound up going to my favourite LQS and loading up my car:

and then went to my quilty friend’s place.

She has a studio with the space I need to set my baby up.
The drive was good with only a few stretches with awful snowy, slushy conditions.

Her husband is helping me. My friend and DH are supervising. We have bits and pieces and parts EVERYWHERE 😉

Next up, leader clothes and the roll of batting.

My first quilt is almost done; a sweet Girl Baby Quilt. I lost at bobbin chicken with one pass left to go.😉
So nothing was done on my list and so last week’s list has to wait until next week now. Priorities, you know?!?
I’ll close with another bit of beauty.
Hope you all are having a great week! 😁 Carol

Oh yay – you have your longarm home! That’s exciting! And that little beautiful girl is a lovely way to finish your post!

Thank you Wendy. Our little Grace is such a treasure ❤️ Yes my longarm is finally set up at my quilting partners studio (it could not be fit in my little apartment unless I could move DH, his chair and tv outside 😉

How I wish I could click and get close-ups to really see! Is that the future recipient of the baby girl quilt?

Hi Susan. That little darling is my great granddaughter Grace. Believe it or not No the quilt isn’t hers. I’m still working on hers. 😉

Aww, Carol!!! Look at sweet baby Grace!! How adorable and peaceful – she just needs to be picked up, doesn’t she?! I just adore it when they hold their hands like that and look at you. Yippee to your longarm being setup, finally. Bobbin chicken is a skill that’s acquired, I’ve heard. So, your first attempt wasn’t a win on your side but I’ll bet you’ll be winning that war sooner than later. {{Hugs}} I’m so excited for you! Thanks so much for linking up. ~smile~ Roseanne

Thank you Roseanne. Grace is just begging for snuggle time. Bobbin chicken wasn’t too bad for the first try! I’m having to go home tomorrow so no more time with my longarm for a couple of weeks but I’m good with that. More time to catch up on my SAHRR and get my pattern test quilt done. I just need to organize myself with a routine of sewing at home and then coming and quilting like crazy for a few days then back home 😉

Thank you Susie. I think she’s pretty darn cute (but I might be a wee bit biased) 😉
