December OMG Finish

Here it is the last linkup for 2020.

My link up post had this list of projects I was working on, complete with progress notes:

1. Complete the pattern test for Sarah. Still working on it.

2. Complete the pattern test for Kris. Finished and waiting for decent weather to get some pretty pictures.

3. Start the 3 commission quilts. One duvet cover is done and delivered. The other 2 are cut and ready for piecing.

4. Complete piecing the new test pattern quilt for another great designer. Just need to sandwich and quilt it.

Switched my fabric pull and went with a more fall like palette.

5. Finish quilting the quilt from my To Be Quilted pile. Done!

Lined, stitched in the ditch, some wool roving stitched behind the centre star.

I’m linking up my post with Elm Street Quilts December OMG Finish Linkup.

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

    1. Hi Susan. Wool roving is wool that has been washed and carded. I used a trap unto method of plumping up the star by stuffing just that portion with the wool and then stitching in the ditch to make the star puffed up. 😉
