I Love Thursday #20

I really like heading over to LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color to see what a group of crafty friends share on their Thursday posts, which are then linked on LeeAnna’s Linky party. This has been one of my best finds to see what brings joy to these people and writing the posts makes me stop and think about the many positives we have in our life in spite of the drama of real life in our world.

Some days it just seems to be harder to keep a positive attitude and see anything good in the day, but I like using humour to cope.

Humour is the best way to try to get through this, along with masks and social distancing.

I love getting to a point in a pattern Test when I just know if everything “works” and I won’t have to get Jack out, do math or cut more fabric.

I love signing up to do blog hops. It’s all so much fun; deciding on a project, making it, writing about it and if you have a giveaway letting the winner know they won! I enjoy it so much, I did it again!

My day is on December 1!

I really loved seeing this post on someone’s blog and have to share. I am a list maker and love checking things off so this really made me chuckle. Anything that can make us smile is a good thing, right?

More importantly, I love these littles:

I like knowing that every vote will likely be counted in America even though there is the beginning of turmoil and lawsuits. Let’s hope everyone stays calm and well.

Thank you for spending some time with me. 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

    1. Wendy my littles are sweeties. I agree. The pink bunny is my oldest great grandson 😉 I think I have figured out what I’m doing for the hop but I’m having an issue over the baking. I have had to test drive the recipes and then we HAVE to eat the samples while binge watching the results. My pants are getting tighter ☺️

  1. Hi Carol! We are all so calm here (well, I am anyway). I did my job and can’t do anything else. The process works – we just have to give it time to do so. LOVE all those photos of the grands and greats. Now there’s something to focus on! The yellow shark?!! The pirate?!! And the baby kitty – meow!! So, so, so great. I am looking forward to this next hop so much! My day is December 1st. I better get cracking as we know there are only 50 days until Christmas Day so I only have 25 days to get my post in order. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Roseanne you are so right! Counting ALL the votes works 😉. Aren’t the littles the reason we keep going? They do bring such joy. Even our Canadian news is 24/7 American Election results. I’m living with ear buds constantly, test driving family recipes for the hop, eating too many goodies (I think I’ve gained 5 pounds). I’m finished a couple of pattern tests before I start my finishing my hop project. At least I know what I want to do 😁. Have a wonderful rest of the week Roseanne

  2. Ha! I’m a list maker too and I will totally put things on there that I’m almost done with or split one thing up into multiple parts just so I can check off more!
