Here it is Thursday and the day that a fun group of bloggers share a list of things that make them happy. The list can be found on LeeAnna’s blog, Not Afraid of Color on her I Love Thursday post.

I like being an election worker and doing my civic duty. I like seeing these signs;

I love that the signs you couldn’t see inside encouraged the wearing of masks, using hand sanitizer and promoted social distancing. I like that our Provincial Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bonny Henry worked diligently with Elections Officials to provide safe workspaces for the staff and voters. I love that the Provincial elections are over now for 4 years. 😉
I love my morning view, knowing that with the snow comes more time to settle in with fabric, my machines and even a bit of baking time. Winter is that cozy time with great smells and bright, cheery fabrics.

Sunday afternoons are always good days now in my household. I get to putter and sew and DH watches football. I love the fact that there are not countless hours of news being televised in our home. I’m thinking Sunday is my favourite day of the week!
I love taking part in Blog Hops, especially when the theme touches me. This week I was part of a hop showcasing Gifts From The Heart, hosted by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt. If you have popped around to get some great inspiration from an incredible group of creators, there are a wonderful ideas for gifts to make for those we love or touch our hearts.
The last love I have to share this week is for these:

I love my handmade knitted socks. They are perfect for our snowy, fall weather.
So glad you stopped by! Don’t forget to stop by LeeAnna’s blog to see what our quilty friends are sharing. 😄 Carol

Love your Loves!!
I really like seeing your view … all we have is rain here (at least we don’t have to shovel it!) … but it’s nice to look at how pretty the snow is!
Loved your “from the heart” gifts!
Happy Quilting! 🙂

Thank you Gail. Temperatures rose today so the snow is melted and golfers were out on the course today! Today I am working on the squirrel you sent my way! 😊

Wendy that blog was so much fun and I’ve added some more things to my must make list. The socks are light but so very toasty. I love that yarn and enough to finish all my socks for the grands and great grands for Christmas

I hope to make socks one of these days. My latest knitting didn’t turn out so well, the ‘damn beanie’ got finished but I don’t like it, too floppy, so may rip it back yet… Pretty snow in such a pretty setting. I like feeling all cozy too! And yay, for less doom and gloom news even if the football here on Sundays is usually depressing to my husband!

Sandra socks can be fun to make but the dreaded heel turn still gives me grief. The football gloom is better to my well being than the news! 😁
