April 6, 2020 I finished piecing the top I was pattern testing for The Quilt Pattern Magazine.
The Pattern was Autumn Entwined by RaeLyn Boothe. Finished size is 64.5” x 64.5”. It was a wonderful pattern, well written and easy to follow. It will be published in the August issue of The Quilt Pattern Magazine.

The only problem I had was trying to concentrate and focus during the start of the Covid 19 pandemic crisis

And finally after it snowed last night the sun started to shine and as I finished I realized I could go out for a photo shoot! The first sunny skies shoot of 2020. It was such a great moral booster!

And here it is;

And I even got a bonus;

Thank you for reading my post. Do check out The Quilt Pattern Magazine for some great patterns, fun quilt alongs and inspiring articles. 😄 Carol
Congrats on finishing the quilt! The fabric colors are so soft and soothing.

I really enjoyed digging in the stash for these fabrics at the start of the pandemic lockdown. 😊

Beautiful quilt! The fabric designs are not ones I’d have thought to put together, but they make something really gorgeous.

Thank you Susan. When I was digging in my stash to do the test at the beginning of the Covid shutdown pickings were a bit slim. I was really pleased when I was able to put them together and to me it worked. I’m even happier now that I can actually see the colours and I still like it 😉

Thanks but No Snow Gail! That photo was taken when I finished the test in March or April? LOL The pattern is being released in August issue of The Quilt Pattern Magazine so I finally get to show it off. That border print was just big enough for the quilt and was the palette I pulled from to do the quilt. It’s actually been hot enough this week to have weather warnings for high heat out. I love my covered patio now. 😉

Hi Carol! Lovely fabrics and wonderful quilt top. I really like the one block that doesn’t have a star in the center – although I LOVE stars so I amend this to saying I love both blocks. Very different looking in a great way. And the basket of leftover HSTs . . . how fun is that?! Really nice finish. ~smile~ Roseanne
