it has been too long since I posted but it has been weird here this summer!
We had a pending sale of the property which dragged on for months. You know the drill; everything 3/4 packed , purged and sorted, living out of boxes, no time to fondle fabric.
Then the fires started in BC and the smoke was so thick it blocked our internet signal.
The pending sale fell through. Back to showing the property. Sometimes 2 viewings on the same day.
This afree on we are going to the lawyers and this sale might go through! :))
Then we get to pick up the grandson from school and have a sleepover.
Then on Monday we need to start house hunting to find a place to live! Could be fun! If we are really lucky, we can get a place which will allow us to move over a week. This old lady is just too tired with the smoke bothering my chest (silly heart issues) and DH not able to do much with his MS. Sure wish my kids and grandkids didn’t live 12 hours drive away! Who know, maybe this move will get us closer to them. Fingers crossed!
more news later and I will even get some pics of the latest projects posted!
It’s nice to see an update from you. I hope this sale does go through, and that you find a new home that has everything you hope for. {{Hugs}} It is SO much work to pack and move. Ugg. I do not envy you at all. ~smile~ Roseanne

Thankyou Roseanne. The lawyer says it’s a go so now to finish purging and packing 30+ years of accumulation in the shop. DH ran a construction business so you can imagine the treasures…….
Homehunting and then the move Nov.1. :). Can’t wait for studio time!

Okay now I am putting the pieces of the puzzle together. 🙂 Hope it is closer to your children and grandchildren, and hope it all works out (it usually does) but foof! one bedroom and 600 ft’ from 6 times that is going to be a big change! Organization and storage from floor to ceiling (think IKEA–the Swedish are wizards at it as you probably know) is key. We are in a 750 ft’ home but it does have a basement, so MacGyver is as I type busy making a nice bedroom down there with a real closet (1947 home, hooks were fine, with one lone closet rail tucked beneath the stairs, yikes)… It’s a process! Take care, remember to breathe.

The suite is actually 560′. According to DH. Lol. My sewing space will be a desk 2′ X 4′ with one shelving unit for supplies! Woo Hoo! Housework will only take 20 minutes a day!
