I Like Thursday

Hello February; usually a month of snowy fun, celebrating the one we love and the beginning of noticeably more sunlight.

Normally here in B.C. we have several inches of snow on the ground and beautiful clear blue skies. This year the snow is almost gone from the golf course and it’s raining every day.

I’m glad we are getting the moisture in any form since it lessens the chances of another crazy wildfire season. It also smell wonderful when I go out for a walk.

The rain and grey skies keep me indoors and at home so I’ve been busy getting lots of sewing time in.

I’ve managed to finish two of my UFO’s:

I also have done the Project Quilting Challenges:

With all of the terrible news I’m very happy to see posts like this popping up on the internet. We Canadians are are positive, supportive country and if all we can do to show our support for our American family and friends is this;

then that is what we will do. Crafters of any kind try to support with our love and tears knit, crocheted or stitched in every project.

I’ll be sharing my post link on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color where an amazing group of bloggers try to share happy, positive things that bring them (and us) joy and we can all use more of that these days.

Thanks for dropping in. I love our visits 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. I’m swooning over the needlepoint dragonflies! I love dragonflies and they sure pretti-fied that container. Positivity is a good thing to share everywhere! I hope you have a good week.
