Hello and welcome to my Sunday Summary and To Do Tuesday List.
Things have been crazy here for the past few week with hospital visits, my Guild’s annual fundraiser, getting the Golf Club open and of course our Federal Elections. The good news is I have had some stitching time a lot of days, but our internet has been glitchy so I’ve not been on line a lot.

My Last To-Do Goals:
This Week’s goals:
Now it’s time for my new To Do Tuesday List:

1. Keep working on my EPP, embroidery and embroidery sampler now that I can see and everything is tidy and organized again. Managed a bit of handwork but nothing really to share (no photos yet).
2. Finish the pattern test. Done and I’ll share when the pattern is posted.
3. Continue plugging away at the memory quilts for my son, granddaughters and Clarke’s family from a collection of T-shirts from my son, DIL and granddaughters and our Clarke’s clothing. I’ve made some progress with a few more blocks quilted 😁

4. Keep playing with the orphan blocks and goodies from Denise, with some additions from my stash, to use up more bits and pieces until those project boxes are empty. No progress on any of these projects yet. 😢

5. Finish making the test block from my crumb blocks to see if my design idea will work as I had planned. No progress on this one 😢

6. Get caught up with Gail from Quilting Gail’s Mystery QAL since it finished a while ago.. 🤩 The pieces are sitting on the top of my cart by my sewing table. 😁

7. Get started on re-making this flimsy or another pattern I just came across 🤣 since I do have to deliver a green quilt to our Treasurer at the Guild who is retiring next month and has been training me to do the job. I’ve started putting this one together but it’s going to be very different than the original! 😁

This little quilt needs to be 48” x 84” 🤔
8. Assemble the flimsy from these blocks and add on the border. No progress on this one 😢

9. Continue fixing popped seams and stay stitching the edges of the first bin of quilt tops for Liz’s project. The first bin is complete (and one extra one) and I should be swapping the finished one for another needs work bin tomorrow. With Liz’s permission I’ll share some photos of the quilt tops next week. 🤞🏻😁

10. Do not let Samantha or any of her squirrel buddies side track me🐿🐿🐿🐿 Samantha has been very busy sidetracking me 😢
With our fundraiser last weekend I was tempted by a little piece of fabric that was cut out with a pattern. I had to purchase it and finish someone else’s UFO! It didn’t take long, but was so much fun to complete something. Here it is:

Then Sam had me completely side tracked when I remembered all of this:

9. Try to finish my latest start that Samantha enticed me to make since we have a couple of quilting days coming up at the Guild and I’d like to take my Featherweight to play with. 😁

Stitchin’ Time

Kate from Life in Pieces hosts a weekly linky party to help us keep to our goals of stitching every day. I just love her new logo!
I’m trying for at least 30 minutes a day this year and 1 hour at the end of the week to tidy up and deal with my scraps. I wasn’t really off to a good start, but it is getting better as things settle down in my real life time and commitments lessen. 🤔
- January 4/31
- February 2/28
- March 10/31
- April 12/30
- May 2/3
- this week 7/7
- Previous Total 16/88
- Total: 30/123
- Percentage = 24.4 %
I hope you all get to set and keep your goals for your Stitching Time and join Kate. 😁

Stash Report

I like to link with Donna @ QuiltPaintCreate to keep track of fabric in and out of my stash. If I can plan trips to the studio I expect my stash to be reduced terrifically when I start making backings for all of the quilt tops I’ve got to do. My fabric fast has ended. When doing training for our Federal Election I was in the town that one of my absolute favourite LQS is in so I had to pay Laurel Tree in New Denver a visit. I tried to behave since I really only needed some neutral fabrics for backgrounds, but a couple of extra pieces slipped in to my shopping bag 🤩

- Fabric Used: 0 yards
- Fabric Purchased this week: 9 yards
- Fabric Previous Balance: 12 yards
- Fabric Purchased this year: 9 yards
- Balance in stash to use this year: 197 yards
* my goal is to lessen my stash by 200 yards this year. My goal this year is to use 200 yards of fabric from my stash. 😉
* any fabric used from the scrap bins, was gifted or a prize; doesn’t count as stash!
Design Wall Mondays

Judy, at Small Quilts and Doll Quilts, hosts a linky party for “Design Wall Mondays” every week.
I’m including some photos of my current WIPs;

My UFO and WIP List
Last but not least I have to update my UFO Speadsheet and then try keeping it up to date and so help with my accountability now that I have gone through everything in my storage room and sewing space. I’ve made some progress but still haven’t finished updating my list with my newly discovered/forgotten WIPs from my storage room bins and boxes. 😅

So glad you’ve had a chance to get in some good stitching time. Hopefully you’ll have more time over the summer. You’ve got a long and busy to do list. Good Luck!

I love this green and purple fabric! The new motorcycle fabric looks fun too. Have fun finishing or making progress on your projects, the log cabin blocks are very pretty. Currently as I’m working on only one project, my to-do list is very short and easy: making progress 😉
Thank you for sharing and linking up.

Sounds like a good plan Frederique, to only have one project on the go. Maybe I should try that when I finish my current projects 😉
