To – Do Tuesday Linky Party #2

Quilt Schmilt

Welcome to my link up post for To-Do Tuesday! I’d like to start by apologizing to you all for the issues with Blogger not allowing comments on either my post or on yours for some of you. Google is also messing things up with requiring me to log in to comment on your posts and then the screen goes blank. 🤯. I’m working on trying to figure things out. It’s the first time I’ve had any issues with my WordPress site so I do hope I can resolve it soon. In the meantime if you have any issues please email me directly QuiltSchmilt@gmail.com and accept my apologies. Some times technology is just beyond me.

I had so much fun visiting all of you and seeing the incredible projects you are working on. It’s so hard to not just drop what I am working on and starting so many of your projects! I can tell you Samantha, my inner squirrel is driving me crazy telling me that I have to add several projects to my Must Do List. 🐿😉🐿

I can share my biggest completion of last week again because I’m rather proud of getting my longarm moved and the longarm room re-arranged at the studio:

Ignore the piles all over the place. My partner in crime at the studio has at least 30 WIPs on the go at all times so there is stuff everywhere! 😉

Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any project – It can be in-progress or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features one of your projects.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. There will be a linky party available every week!
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following or commenting on my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

It is now your turn to share the projects you are working on or have finished 😁

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Pity about Blogger – it can be difficult at times. I can only stay logged in to leave comments when I am in Chrome, if I am using Safari it creates big problems! The long arm is looking great, hope it won’t be long before you are happily working on it there.

    1. H Kathryn. I tried using Chrome and Google today and still had issues. I also tried Safari. Next step will be to buy a new computer. 😉
My DH is having some issues so it might be a few weeks before I get back to the studio. It’s all good just knowing that when I do get there it’s ready to go 😉

  2. Hi Carol! Oh gosh, I’m sorry for the Blogger and commenting issue. Blogger has had ongoing issues so I’m sure no one is surprised by this. Thanks so much for the linky party! You are motivating me to try to sneak in another longarm session before some bad weather hits. {{Hugs}} a bunch! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. I had trouble at first leaving a comment but then saw there was a note at the top of the screen that was a cookie preventing me from leaving a comment after I turned that off I was able to

  4. What a great prize – a big length of already made binding! So useful! Looking forward to seeing what you make for the blog hops, too. Thanks for hosting us, Carol! I cabin only comment using my WordPress account, but I use Blogger for my blog. It’s not a problem, just something I had to get used to!

  5. I’d like to come and visit and stitch down some of those bindings for you; I’m sure we could find plenty to chat about while we stitch! Sorry about the tech issues; hope you get them figured out. Haven’t gotten a post written quite yet – we’ll see if it gets done!

  6. Tech issues are really insane sometimes. I’ve learned with Blogger that the browser can really affect how things work. Generally Chrome works well, but not always. Thanks for hosting and for dealing with the various technical headaches. Good luck with your to do list this week.

  7. I have the same issue with some Blogger blogs. I know some have changed a setting on their blogs and whatever they changed fixed it, but not being. Blogger blogger, I don’t know what that is.

  8. Congratulations on getting things organized in a new way. I look forward to sometime this year getting mine going and getting me healthy enough to work at least a couple of passes at a time! =)

  9. WordPress definitely doesn’t want to interact with Blogger. I’m looged into my WordPress account and it is still difficult to post a comment here.

    1. Hi Marti. I’m having the same issue trying to post a comment on your site. I’m logged in on Chrome and still can’t comment. I do love your Sugar Pie block and hope you don’t get Covid. Good luck with your list this week and thank you for linking with To Do Tuesday. 😃

  10. Hi Carol. I can relate to having problems the Word Press and Blogger platforms. I can comment on Blogger posts through the Google app on my iPad but not on my iPhone even though I’m logged into Google. Many thanks for being willing to navigate these difficulties while learning how to host the To-Do Tuesday linky party.
