Fabric Fun Times

I decided that since I am trying to clean out my scrap bin I would play a little and use up the orphan blocks I found in the bin as well as some scraps for the RSC.

First up was to make an iPad holder using some leftover blocks;

My next bit of fun came about because I am making a concerted effort to finish emptying my scrap bin. I found a baggie and some bits of pink fabric. I was going to cut them up in to my usual various sizes of squares and put them in my scrap savers system (clean unused pizza boxes), but decided instead to play. I was able to finish pinwheels, wonky churn dashes and courthouse steps and fun crumb blocks all 4 1/2” square; 9 total blocks.

I’m so pleased you stopped by to read my post. What are you managing to do on this cold, dreary day? 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Your scrappy projects are sew pretty! It always feels good to see scraps used up. I can see why the IPad holder found quick use. I keep meaning to make a couple of those. Thank you for sharing in my humble Linky Party. I am enjoying following all the thread trails to all the lovely quilty inspiration … 🙂 Pat
