One of my favourite Challenges has begun. The guidelines this time or for any project that is considered to be a quilt using predominately yellow and grey (white and black can be added).
I went searching in my stash for the pieces I knew were there. Some sewing happened. I then layered my fabric, bits of ribbon and 2 layers of batting. I stitched around most of the outside, turned everything right side out and top stitched after turning the open edges in and inserting some jingle bells. I then added some ruffles for texture.
Here is my first finish of 2021:
Next week my grandson and his partner are having another baby, their second daughter. I’ve been making soft toys with texture and noise to keep the little one and her big sister entertained.
I’ll be linking my finish with Project Quilting 2021

Thank you for reading my post. 😄 Carol
What a good idea, and yay for your first finish of 2021. I think I’m going to pull my yellows and grays out today and see what I can come up with.

Thank you. PQ12.1 is completely responsible. As soon as I saw the challenge I remembered the precut hexies and once I found them it was an easy squirrel to chase down. 😁
