Has this week been 4 years long to anyone else? I haven’t managed to get much done with being glued to the news reports.
A friend posted this on social media so I had to share:

So here’s my list for last week with my progress updated:
So this week I am planning on:
1. Finish my test pattern and take pictures for Kris at Phoebe Moon. Flimsy is finished. Now I just need a window between the rainy days and the start of 3 days of snow to get some photos. Sneak peek of some of the fabrics I used;

2. Finish sewing my test pattern for Sarah. Test block finished; now I’m piecing the top
3. Keep working on the quilting on one of the quilts from my To Be Quilted pile. A bit of progress on this!
4. Keep working on 3 commission projects. All 3 are started
5. Mail the prize bundle from my giveaway on the From The Heart Blog Hop. It’s in today’s mail!
6. Keep making scrappy snappy bags for the Food Bank Christmas Hampers. 10 done so far 32 finished!
7. Avoid squirrels until I get some finishes off this list. No squirrels sticking around so far!
That makes it really easy to write my list for this week:

6. Do the other pattern test that I had missed off my list last week. 😊

Isn’t it a good thing to have lists to keep ourselves on track and actually know what has to be done?
I have 2 teaching days at my Guild this week and a morning with some other Board Members to do some organizing so I’m not sure how much will get checked off my list this week, but I’ll give it my best.
Linking up with Sue and RoseAnne at their blog. Home Sewn By Us for their Linky Party

Thanks for taking some time to read my post. Have you had a chance to head over to Roseanne and Sue’s Linky Party to see what everyone else is working on and join in with your lists? I’m on my way shortly! I’m hoping you all get to spend some quality time with your machines and fabric today. 😄 Carol
You’ve had a good week! I’m inviting the squirrels in for a visit today; we’ll see what they bring along! I need something fun after a week of focused sewing.

Thank you Wendy and you can keep the squirrels at your place please. I have one scratching at the window trying to avoid the snow but I’m not letting him in. 😉

Without lists, I tend to drift. Right now, I can’t do much of anything anyway. I love the little sneak peeks you’ve shown us! Best of luck for a great sewing week!

Susan I’ve discovered this year I have to have lists to keep me on track. Hope you have some handwork to do. 😁

Hi Carol! Four years long?! Yes, it has been at least that long at times for me, too. Egad. Just 51 days until it’s 2021. How about that?!! The first picture you shared of a quilt is fabulous!! You have done well on your list – good luck this week. Teaching at the Guild will be nice. Just having some time for chatting and laughing makes everything feel much more normal. {{Hugs}} Thanks in advance for linking up, my friend. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne. I think this week will be at least 7 years long the way it’s going. 51 days? Really? Doing a happy dance at that thought. That first quilt was a lovely commission from he*! I thought I wrote about it. I did like the finish. Teaching was fun. Only had one beginner so I was even able to sew a bit! It sure recharged my batteries 😉

LOL!!! You made me laugh! My week was busy and only had about 10 hours and yours was 4 years long … what different times we live in! LOL.
You did pretty good with last week’s list and this week’s list makes me tired just looking at it! Good luck and I hope you get it all accomplished!
Happy Quilting! 🙂

Hi Gail. This list does seem huge but the plan is to just keep moving things along! Can’t say this week isn’t going to be as long or longer. DH has the news on for about 10 hours a day 😢Hope you have a wonderful week!
